Accessing The Application

AWS Marketplace:

If you have launched Ideata analytics application using AWS marketplace, you will need to wait for the EC2 instance to get started. Once the instance is up and available, you can connect to the running Ideata analytics application by using the following link:

http://<hostname_OR_IP_Address>

You can also find the details of the running Ideata analytics server on AWS Marketplace library at the below link. For the instance running Ideata analytics application, click on "Access Software" link next to Ideata analytics' subscription

Sign Up:

When you are accessing the application for the first time, you will be asked to register. To verify your identify, you will be asked to provide the instance ID where the application is running. You can find the instance id using the marketplace library as explained in the previous step.

Once you have signed up, you will receive a email with a verification link in provided email's inbox. You will need to click on the link to complete the verification.

Once verified, you can will be able to login to the application with the login credential you had provided.


On Premise:

Ideata analytics currently only support Linux based servers for deployments.

Once Ideata team has provided you to If you are installing Ideata Analytics on your local machine, navigate to bin folder in your installation directory and run the following command to start Ideata server:

./ideata-analytics.sh start

Once the application has started, navigate to the following link to access the application:

http://<hostname_OR_IP_Address>:8900

In case the default port 8900 is not available, Ideata analytics will try to run the application on port 8901 and 8902 as next options.

Once you login to the application using the username and password provided by Ideata analytics team, you will be asked to provide the license key to your server. Please fill the license key provided by Ideata team to proceed.

Stop server:

To stop Ideata analytics server, use the following command:

./ideata-analytics.sh stop
