How to rename a column?

Ideata will try and get the headers from the dataset that you have imported or uploaded. In scenarios where the column name is not predicted, the application will generate new column names in the data. Using the rename operation, you can rename the column name to suit your requirement. Following are the steps:

Step 1: When you create a new connection, you will get to Preview Screen.

Step 2: On preview screen, select the column which you want to rename.

Step 3: Double click the column name which you want rename, it will allow you to edit the name

Step 4: Type the new name and press enter to rename the column.
